ClickLearn

    Clicker training is becoming a powerful influence in dog training.   And rightfully so.... it is the most efficient way to train any animal!  We have been using clicker training at DIXIE's Animal Training for years and would like to share our experiences so that you too can become fast, efficient trainers with dogs that love to be trained.

    The ClickLearn class is a short course on operant conditioning (the basis of 'clicker training') using lecture and practice with your dog to learn the principles behind all of animal learning.  Once a person understands these principles, it becomes possible to train any animal to do anything it is physically and mentally capable of doing and to do it when you want it to happen. 

     All DIXIE'S classes are based in the science of operant conditioning.  Taking this class will enable a trainer to enroll in our advanced classes with a dog that has had previous training without having to take the Beginner's class (where owners learn 'clicker training' as well as fundamental obedience exercises).

   ClickLearn is a 4 week class, once a week - one hour per night.  Cost is $40.00.  We are currently taking names for the next class   - date pending.
