Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) and Rally
The CGC and Rally class is the logical next step after Beginner Obedience. In this class, your dog will continue training to become a model Good Citizen by:

· Sitting politely to greet new people · Walking calmly in many environments · Reliably coming when called |
· Behaving around other dogs · Being comfortable in unusual situations |
At the completion of this class, you and your dog will be ready to take the tests for the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen certification (link to AKC's web page). You may also wish to participate in the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and AKC Rally title competitions.

This class lasts 7 weeks at 1 hour per week. Cost is $75.
Competition Class (Rally and Obedience)
Competition
Obedience training is available for
dogs that have basic obedience skills (sit, down, walking on leash, stay).
If you have an understanding of clicker training basics and are interested in
competing in Obedience or Rally-Obedience trials, this class is for you!
Here your dog will learn and practice more obedience skills, such as:
· Foundation skills for Novice through Utility obedience
· Clicker retrieve
· Jumping
Competition Rally and Obedience training is
available as private coaching lessons.
Trainer Terri Wilson has over 30 years of experience in competition obedience
from Novice all the way through Utility.
Over the years, Terri has developed training methods and training progressions
to produce incredible working dogs that can compete at the utility level without
stress.
Terri is available as a private coach for any level of training. Private lessons are $25 per hour.
