There is no need to imagine anymore! All this and more is possible using the simple science of operant conditioning.
The next Fundamentals of Operant Conditioning Seminar will be held this summer - July 21 and 22, 2007 The seminar runs 9 to 4 each day, at DIXIE'S Animal Training - Owasso, Oklahoma. You will learn how to use reinforcements, how to teach targeting, and the principles of behavior shaping, bridging, and stimulus control. Saturday is lecture and demonstration (and some practice on Jane's mix of animals - pig, goat, horse, cats...). Sunday's class includes lecture and practice sessions using your dogs. TTouch (Tellington touch) is a unique approach to training and healthcare. It was developed by Linda Tellington-Jones and uses a combination of specific touches and strokes which induce a state of relaxation and increase body awareness in the animal. This workshop will be conducted by Kathy Cascade - a graduate of the first two year TTouch Certification Course (1996). Kathy has worked with animals throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
